About Schmidt's Landscaping

West of town the glaciers left the Kettle Moraine behind — humped ridges and sudden hollows that keep this country from ever going flat. Schmidt's Landscaping works that uneven ground around Sheboygan Falls: mowing slopes, trimming, edging, mulching beds, and cutting a yard back down each spring and again after the leaves drop. In October the ridges turn rust and copper; by January those same hills funnel snow into the driveways below, which is when the plow, the shovel and the salt take over. Hills make every job a little different, and that's half the pleasure of it. The finish, though, never changes — open, tidy, done.
