T & B Lawncare

About T & B Lawncare

Mid-May in Shawano, the lilacs come on in the alleys and along the older garages, and every Saturday morning the town sounds like mowers. T & B Lawncare is part of that sound from the first cut to the last — mowing on a schedule the grass can count on, trimming close where the mower cannot go, edging the walks and drives so a yard has a clean border. The first visit of April is a cleanup, pulling out the flattened thatch and the winter's leavings; October's is the same job in reverse. Wisconsin grass grows in surges, quick in June and slow through the dry stretch of August, and the visits follow it. The smell of a fresh-cut yard on a warm evening never really gets old.
