About BJ's Landscape and Maintenance, LLC

Shawano Lake sits just east of town, six thousand acres of it, and the shore road changes character four times a year — boat trailers in July, ice heaves groaning against the rip-rap in February. BJ's Landscape and Maintenance, LLC keeps up with both ends: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing season, cleanups in spring and fall, and snow plowed and shoveled clear of drives and walks once the lake goes white. Lakeside lots have their own habits — sandy soil, wind off open water, grass that grows hard in the shade of old shore trees. In winter that same wind packs a driveway shut overnight and wants it opened again by morning. There is a plain pleasure in handing back a property that looks cared for, whichever season is doing the talking.
