About Double C Enterprises

Schofield grew up on the Eau Claire River, where the water still tumbles white over the dam in the middle of town, and winter here has a mill-town seriousness to it. Double C Enterprises answers with plow trucks in the dark, clearing driveways and lots so the early shifts get out on time. Snow off the river valley is nothing to romanticize when it is knee-deep on your walk — the romance is in the clearing of it. In the green months the work turns to mowing and trimming yards from the riverbank streets to the newer blocks toward Weston. Either way, the town runs a little smoother for it.
