Jeff's Lawn Maintenance

About Jeff's Lawn Maintenance

August evenings in Sauk City have their own choreography: kids on bikes over the river bridge, porch lights coming on near Water Street, sprinklers starting up as the heat lets go. Jeff's Lawn Maintenance keeps its part of the picture in order — mowing and trimming the village blocks where front yards slope easy toward the Wisconsin. The pace of the work matches the pace of the town: steady, unhurried, thorough. By the time the hills across the river go purple at dusk, the day's route is done. A village shows its face in its front lawns, and this one gets kept looking well.
