About Mattmiller Landworks LLC

Snow in Washburn County does not ask permission — it drifts across the county roads, buries the cabin lanes around Long Lake, and keeps coming from November into April. Mattmiller Landworks LLC meets it in the dark, plow lights sweeping the pines outside Sarona while most of the county is still asleep. The town is a crossroads settlement in lake country, and in winter every open driveway is a small victory over distance. There is a satisfaction particular to the work: the drift wall breached, the lane cut clean to the door, the banks squared before sunrise. When the storm finally quits, the driveways of Sarona are already waiting for it to try again.
