About Acker Lawn Care LLC

The Baraboo River makes a hard bend at Rock Springs, sliding through a gorge of purple-pink quartzite that geologists travel to see and locals simply live beside. Acker Lawn Care LLC works the green ground in between — village lawns, riverside yards, and rural properties in the Sauk County hills — mowing, trimming, and cleaning up through the long growing season. The rock here is some of the oldest exposed stone in the Midwest; the grass, by contrast, is brand-new every week, and that is where the work lives. Cuts kept even, edges kept crisp, leaves off the lawn before they mat down in the fall. In a village framed by ancient stone and moving water, a well-tended yard holds its own.
