About Howies lawn services

Rio — locals say RY-oh — is a small Columbia County village surrounded by some of the flattest, most generous farmland in southern Wisconsin. Howies lawn services keeps the village side of that bargain: lawns mowed down the quiet blocks all summer, leaves gathered in fall, driveways and walks cleared when the winter wind finds nothing between here and the horizon to slow it down. The seasons are distinct out here and so is the work — mower in June, plow in January, rake in between. A tidy yard in Rio isn't showing off; it's just how the village keeps itself. Howies helps it stay that way, one lawn and one snowfall at a time.
