About F & S Enterprises

Out where Washington County still opens into field, the February wind lifts fresh snow off the high ground and lays it right back across the driveway you cleared an hour ago. F & S Enterprises plows through that — long rural and farm drives opened end to end, lots cleared, walks shoveled, salt down on the ice the wind polishes smooth. Kettle-country snow is as much drifting as falling, which means coming back, sometimes twice, and pushing the banks wide early so there's still room in March. The measure of a good night is a neighbor reaching Highway 175 without ever touching a shovel. Richfield, Colgate, Slinger and Hartford are on the route.
