About Peterson Services Of Rice Lake, LLC

Every winter a small village of shanties appears out on the ice, and the town keeps two lives going at once — one on the lake, and one on the plowed streets that get you there. Peterson Services Of Rice Lake, LLC works the second one: driveways and lots opened, walks cleared, banks kept down out of the sightline at the end of the drive. When the ice goes soft and the shanties come in, the work turns to raking out a winter's worth of matted oak leaves, then mowing through to fall with the trimmer and the edger following behind. Two seasons, two entirely different sets of tools, one town. Peterson Services runs both around Rice Lake.
