About Nate's Lawn Services

In June the light up here hangs on past nine o'clock, and a mower can still be running when the first bats come out over the yard. In January that same yard is dark by five and wants a shovel. Nate's Lawn Services takes Rice Lake on those terms — mowing and trimming through the long evenings with an edge run along the walk, plowing drives and clearing entries through the short ones. The pleasure of it is arriving before the problem does: the walk clear underfoot at daybreak, the grass knocked down level before the weekend. Nate's works that way whatever the calendar is doing.
