Green Oasis

About Green Oasis

By early October the tamarack in the low ground around Rice Lake goes the color of a struck match, frost sits in the shaded yards until nine, and the season starts changing hands. Green Oasis works both sides of that handoff: mowing on a weekly line, trimming the tight spots and cleaning up edges while the grass still asks for it, then plowing and shoveling once the ground locks up for good. Winter here is long enough that a cleared drive stops being a convenience and becomes the difference between going and not going. Summer is short enough that a yard cut clean feels like something the town earned. Green Oasis is there for the handoff, and for everything on either side of it.
