Anthony Eckert Lawn and Snow

About Anthony Eckert Lawn and Snow

The town of Rhine is glacier-made ground — kettles and moraines rolling toward Elkhart Lake, hills that hide a pond in every second hollow. Anthony Eckert Lawn and Snow works both halves of the year here in northern Sheboygan County: mowing and trimming through the green months, plowing and shoveling when the storms stack up against the Kettle Moraine. Summer is lawns cut clean along the lake roads and cottage drives; winter is the scrape and lift that gets a hilly driveway passable while the snow is still falling. Terrain like this doesn't forgive shortcuts — slopes, curves, tight turnarounds — so the work is done close and careful. What's left behind is simple: a yard that looks right from the water, a drive you can take at first light without a second thought.
