About Granite Land Maintenance L.L.C.

Redgranite is named for what lies under it — the red stone once cut from the quarry at the edge of the village, where spring-fed water now sits deep and glass-clear beneath the pines. Granite Land Maintenance L.L.C. works the softer ground above all that rock, mowing lawns through Waushara County's green months and trimming until the walk lines run straight. When winter closes in, the plow goes on and driveways open up before the day begins, one clean pass at a time. It is steady work in a small place, and it shows: turf that holds its color into October, drives that stay black through January. The quarry gave this town its name; keeping its yards and its winters in order is a quieter trade, and a good one.
