About Trimmed & Plowed LLC

On a hard January morning the Racine harbor steams — sea smoke drifting off open water, ice heaped along the breakwater, the wind coming straight in. Trimmed & Plowed LLC works the streets behind that shoreline, plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks down to the concrete and salting where the spray freezes. Snow this close to the water comes wet and heavy and often twice in a day, which makes the return trip part of the plan rather than a surprise. Something in it is worth doing well: clearing a drive at five in the morning and leaving nothing behind but pavement. The lake will keep sending it, and the answer is simply to be out there.
