About Jay's Lawn Care, Inc

Late on a summer evening in Uptown the light comes in low along the avenues and every mowing stripe on every terrace stands up like corduroy. Jay's Lawn Care, Inc works for that hour — mowing on rotation, edging the walks and drives, trimming close where the mower runs out of room, cleanups in spring and fall. Racine grass grows thick on humidity and lake damp, so a straight line takes some doing and a clean edge takes more. The satisfaction is the last look back from the truck before pulling away from the curb. Nothing complicated about it, just a lawn that has obviously been cut by somebody paying attention.
