About Bunnies Lawn Services

Early June in Racine smells like clover and cut grass, and the lawns near Lockwood Park go soft and thick before the real heat arrives. Bunnies Lawn Services works the green half of the year — mowing on a steady cycle, trimming close around fences and posts, edging the walks, carrying off the clippings and the winter litter. The pleasure of it is the after picture: a yard tidy enough that a kid can find a ball in it. Lake Michigan keeps this city's turf growing later into fall than it has any right to, so the mowing season runs long and the final cut lands somewhere near Halloween. Steady work, done on the day it was promised.
