About Elkay Services, Inc.

Three in the morning northwest of Green Bay, and the snow coming off the bay has been falling sideways across the county trunk roads for hours. Elkay Services, Inc. runs Pulaski in exactly those hours — plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, spreading salt and sand so the first shift out the door has a fair chance. Out here the fields give the wind a running start, and what fell at midnight is a drift by four. There is a particular satisfaction in an approach opened clean while the rest of the world is still dark and closed. By the time the barn lights come on, the way out is ready.
