About Tony's Trucking & Snow Removal LLC

A trucking outfit keeps odd hours, and winter makes them odder — when the snow starts after midnight, Tony's Trucking & Snow Removal LLC is rolling before the county plows crest the hill. The routes spider out from Princeton along the state highways and back roads, clearing drives and lots for people who will never see the work happen, only the result: a clean path to the road at 6 a.m. Big storms in this part of Wisconsin come sideways, stacking drifts against garage doors and mailbox posts, and moving that kind of snow is exactly what trucks and blades are for. There is a quiet pride in finishing a route as the sky lightens, the whole town opened up at your back. Princeton, Montello, Neshkoro, and everything along the way — that is the winter map.
