River City Lawn

About River City Lawn

Down at Mercord Mill Park the old mill foundation still holds its corner of the shoreline, and by late fall the benches face a river gone the color of pewter. River City Lawn carries Prescott through those shoulder weeks — last mows, leaf removal, cleanups — and then straight into plowing, shoveling and salting when the first storm finds the bluff. A river town takes its weather personally: the fog, the wind off the confluence, the freeze that arrives overnight. The work answers all of it in the plainest terms there are — cut, cleared, salted, done. Then the lights come on along the water and the town looks like itself again.
