B & C Lawn

About B & C Lawn

This is sand country — the soil around Portage drains fast, and a July week without rain shows up in the lawn long before it shows up anywhere else. B & C Lawn works with that rather than against it, raising the deck when the heat sets in, keeping the trim and the edges tight, and leaving clippings on the turf where they can do some good. Out toward Wyocena and Pardeeville the yards run bigger and the field edges creep inward, so the borders get pushed back every visit. Spring cleanup clears what winter scattered; fall cleanup takes the leaves before the first hard freeze pins them down. Steady weekly work, and a lawn that still holds its shape in August.
