About CS Tree Care

Poplar sits along Highway 2 in that long run of aspen and birch between Superior and the Brule, and when the big lake decides to snow on Douglas County it can load a spruce until the branches lie flat on the ground. CS Tree Care works in that weather and through the green months too — taking out trees that have died standing, trimming crowns back off cabin roofs and garages, pruning birch and maple at the season that suits them. Wind off Superior, a wet March snow, an early October freeze: they all end in the same place, with limbs where nobody wants them. Getting them down cleanly on a gravel lot in the woods is a matter of patience and good rigging. Afterward the yard is clear, the tops are hauled, and the woods around the house look intentional again.
