About Moundview Tree Service LLC

There is a hillside east of Platteville with a giant white M laid across it, and from up that way you can see how the driftless country really goes — hills no glacier flattened, coulees full of oak and hickory, farms tucked into the folds. Moundview Tree Service LLC works that terrain, where a single removal often means a slope, a fence and a barn all in the same yard. Dead and dangerous trees come down, limbs leaning on a roofline get trimmed back, and young trees are pruned so the next generation of shade comes in straight. Straight-line winds can run up one of these valleys and flatten a windbreak in a minute; the cleanup that follows is saws, a chipper and a great deal of walking. The reward is the same every time: an open yard, a tidy hillside, and a view that goes for miles.
