About Arbor Tree Care

Oshkosh earned the name Sawdust City honestly, back when the mouth of the Fox was stacked with mills, and the town still measures itself partly in trees. Menominee Park's old canopy, the maples on the near-east streets, the willows leaning out over the lagoon — all of it takes a beating from wind with miles of open Lake Winnebago behind it. Arbor Tree Care removes what the wind has finished, trims and prunes what still has decades ahead of it, and shapes crowns so the next gale has less to grab. After a big storm the cleanup is triage — drives first, then roofs, then the slow work of pulling everything out of the fence line. A finished job here looks like nothing happened at all, which is exactly the compliment worth chasing.
