The Grounds Crew

About The Grounds Crew

Before Onalaska's shop doors unlock, the lots along the commercial stretch have to be open — plowed corner to corner, aprons cut back, walks scraped and salted so the first customer of the day never has to think about any of it. The Grounds Crew works that early window all winter long. In the green season those same properties get mowing, trimming and edging on a set schedule, with spring and fall cleanups bracketing the year. Curb islands trimmed, leaves cleared, grass held at an even height from one end of the lot to the other. Grounds kept, quietly, so the day can simply happen.
