Ripon Turf

About Ripon Turf

South and west of Omro the country opens toward Rush Lake, prairie-flat and windy, where turf either takes hold or it does not. Ripon Turf works lawns across that ground — mowing on schedule, trimming, edging, and the cleanups that bracket spring and autumn — then swings to snow when the fields go white. Plowed drives, cleared walks and salted approaches keep a property usable through the months when nothing grows at all. Grass and snow are two versions of one problem: a surface that has to be right for the people crossing it. Getting it right, on the day it is needed, is the pleasure of the trade.
