T & D Lawn Service

About T & D Lawn Service

Late-summer afternoons in Oconomowoc run long and gold, the light coming sideways across yards that rise and fall over the old drumlins the ice left behind. T & D Lawn Service works those slopes the way the land asks — mowing with the contour, trimming close around fence posts, oak trunks and mailbox stones, cutting the borders in around beds and drives. September grass grows differently than June grass, and there is real pleasure in reading it right and leaving a lawn that looks combed. As the maples let go along the river the work turns to cleanups, hauling the season off the turf before it mats down. Plain work, done in a town where people notice a straight stripe.
