About Seasonal Works LLC

Four in the morning, January: the wind crosses Okauchee Lake with nothing standing in its way, and the ridges of the Kettle Moraine let the drifts pile wherever they like. Seasonal Works LLC is out in it — plow down, driveways opened end to end, walks shoveled to the door, salt laid where the ice means to set up. There is a particular pride in a cleared drive at dawn, before the coffee is poured, before anyone in the house has given a thought to the run down Highway 16. Come May those same routes turn green and the work changes hands to mowing, trimming, edging and hauling off what the yard has finished with. One town, two weathers, and a name that says plainly what the year keeps asking for.
