Oakfield sits on the Ledge — the limestone spine of the Niagara Escarpment that runs beneath this corner of Fond du Lac County — and the land here has stone in its bones. Hollyhock Acres Landscape gardens on top of all that rock, coaxing beds and lawns into bloom through the warm months, shaping plantings that stand up to the wind that crosses the escarpment.
