About Duane's Lawn Care, Inc.

Early on a July morning the grass at Abendschein Park is still gray with dew, and the day has not yet decided how hot it wants to be. That is the hour Duane's Lawn Care, Inc. sets out — decks adjusted, first lawn of the route, the smell of cut grass rising before the sun clears the treeline. The work is mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups, done on a rhythm the yards get used to. Oak Creek's flat blocks and deep backyards make for long, uninterrupted passes, and a straight line held all the way across is its own small reward. Lawns are looked after here and in South Milwaukee, Cudahy, Franklin and Greenfield.
