About D.B.M. Snow Service, Inc.

Before a Zilwaukee business opens its doors, somebody has to make the lot walkable — and in the Saginaw Valley that is most mornings from December on. D.B.M. Snow Service, Inc. handles that: plowing lots and drives, stacking the piles where they will not blind a turn, clearing entryways and salting the path from the door to the first parked car. The river runs cold and dark past the old channel while the trucks are out, and I-75 hums overhead on its long concrete arc. The measure of the job is simple — whether the first person through the door ever thinks about the snow. Ideally they never do.
