About Hardscape Solutions

The sandstone buttes standing out of the marsh toward Camp Douglas are what remains of an old lakebed — stone that kept its shape while everything around it washed away. Hardscape Solutions builds in that spirit around New Lisbon: patios, walls and walkways set to sit level and stay level, with lawn care around them so the green and the stone frame each other. Autumn suits the work, cool enough to move material all day and dry enough to compact a base the way it ought to be compacted. In winter those same walks and drives get plowed and shoveled, because stone laid carefully deserves to be usable in February. New Lisbon, Mauston, Camp Douglas and the sand country between them.
