About WisconsinSnowRemoval

February in Waukesha County has a sound of its own — wind coming over the high ground where the land divides and sends its water off in two directions. Above New Berlin the sky goes that hard washed blue that means cold rather than clear, and the drifts set up sharp-edged overnight. WisconsinSnowRemoval runs the storm and then the day after it: drives plowed, a path cut to the mailbox and the steps, the ridge the town plow leaves across the apron broken open again. Salt and sand go down where freeze-thaw turns yesterday's melt into a sheet by dusk. The measure is simple — you back out in the morning without once thinking about it.
