About Spring Gardens Landscaping & Horticultural Services, Inc.

The Root River begins small on New Berlin's side of the county, a thread of water in the low ground long before it ever looks like a river. Spring Gardens Landscaping & Horticultural Services, Inc. works in the same patient increments: a mower line laid straight across a May yard, an edge cut back until the walk gets its shape returned to it. By June the glacial till here holds green the way it always has, and the crew keeps it even, week after week, so nothing gets away from anyone. Then the year turns and the same driveways get cleared — plowed wide, shoveled to the step, salted where shade holds ice past noon. One town's ground, tended in both of its moods.
