About RJR Services

South 124th Street draws the line between New Berlin and Milwaukee County, and at three in the morning after a storm it is nothing but streetlights, a blade and a long stretch of untouched white. RJR Services works those hours, pushing driveways and lots back down to pavement, clearing walkways, laying salt where a refreeze would otherwise catch someone at the mailbox. A cleared drive at daybreak is a small thing right up until it is your morning. The work is finished before most people know it happened, which suits it fine. New Berlin's neighbors — West Allis, Greenfield, Hales Corners and Brookfield — get the same early start.
