About Woodland Harvesting & Tree Service LLC

In the deep of winter, bald eagles gather near Nelson along the open water of the Mississippi backwaters, perched in the cottonwoods like dark ornaments against the snow. Woodland Harvesting & Tree Service LLC, a tree service and harvesting outfit by name, takes up snow removal in Nelson when the storms arrive. Work in the woods and work in the snow share a certain grit: heavy loads, cold hands, and a job that isn't done until the path is clear. A single heavy night can erase a long rural lane entirely, and bringing it back takes equipment and stubbornness in equal measure. By midafternoon, with the eagles still wheeling overhead, a cleared drive is its own quiet kind of victory.
