About W H Major & Sons Inc

Out on the county roads around Mukwonago the lawns run big — old farmsteads with an acre of grass around the house and a lane long enough to need a mow of its own. W H Major & Sons Inc takes that scale in stride: broad open cutting, trimming along the fence line and the outbuildings, edging where lawn meets gravel and concrete. Seasonal cleanups clear the windrows of leaves that every shelterbelt drops in November, and overseeding with fertilization keeps a wide stand even instead of patchy. On ground this open a mowing pattern is visible for a quarter mile, so it may as well be laid straight. Plain work, and there is real satisfaction in watching a whole place turn tidy at once.
