Mr Turf Lawns

About Mr Turf Lawns

Turf is a crop, and September in Wisconsin is its finest month — cool nights, warm soil, dew heavy enough to soak your boots by six. Mr Turf Lawns spends that window on the half of a Mukwonago lawn nobody ever sees: core aeration to open compacted ground, seed dropped into the holes, fertilization timed so growth goes down into the roots instead of up into the blades. Across the season it is mowing at the right height on sharp blades, trimming and edging to finish the frame, weed control where broadleaf tries to move in. The real measure is not how a lawn looks the afternoon of the visit; it is how it looks in the third dry week of July. Deep roots, thick stand, honest green.
