About Spring Valley Tree Care LLC

Mount Horeb keeps a row of carved wooden trolls along its main street, which may be the friendliest argument anywhere that a tree can have a second life. West of town Blue Mound rises out of the driftless ridges, and the valleys below hold oaks and hickories on ground no glacier ever flattened. Spring Valley Tree Care LLC removes the trees that have to go, trims what hangs over a roof or a lane, and prunes with an eye to the shape a tree will still be holding twenty winters out. When a summer storm crosses the ridge and brings a limb down onto a garage roof, the cleanup is quick and the ruts get raked smooth. The yard comes back open to the afternoon light, and the shade that stays has room to breathe.
