Hoffmann Tree Service

About Hoffmann Tree Service

Montello has a waterfall dropping into an old granite quarry right in the middle of town, which is a fair introduction to the place: hard stone underneath, water and green on top. Along Buffalo Lake and the Fox the oaks and silver maples grow big and generous, and sooner or later one of them needs a decision made about it. Hoffmann Tree Service makes that call plainly — removal when the trunk has given up, trimming and pruning when there is still a good tree in there to save. Storms build over the marshy country west of here with plenty of room to gather, and afterward there is always a driveway under a limb or a shed wearing a branch. The work is loud for an afternoon, and then the yard is quiet again and the light comes through the way it used to.
