Mr. Honey Do

About Mr. Honey Do

January in Green County has a habit of thawing at noon and locking up again by dark, and every back step and mailbox apron in Monroe pays for it. Mr. Honey Do handles the winter end of the list: plowing the drive, clearing the sidewalk and steps, laying down salt where the glaze keeps coming back overnight. It is the kind of help that shows up as an unremarkable morning — nothing slick underfoot, nothing shoveled twice. Storms get answered as they land, whatever hour they land in. Calls come from Monroe and the small towns spread around it.
