About Josh D Landscaping & Design

The first real snow usually arrives on a blue evening, quiet, the storefront awnings around the Monroe square going soft at the edges. Josh D Landscaping & Design turns to winter work then — driveways plowed, walks and front steps shoveled down to the surface, ice pushed back with salt where it keeps returning. A doorway cleared all the way to the concrete is a small thing that changes the shape of a whole morning. The work runs storm to storm until the thaw finally lifts out of the ground in March. Monroe and the towns close by make up the winter map.
