About Mertz Tree Service, Inc

They call Minocqua the Island City for good reason — come in over the causeway and the lake is on both sides of you at once. Shoreline lots make for beautiful views and complicated trees: a white pine leaning over a boathouse, a birch with half its crown gone, a canopy so dense the dock never dries. Mertz Tree Service, Inc reads those situations, removes what has to go, and trims and prunes so the light comes back without stripping the shore bare. When a summer thunderhead crosses the water and takes limbs down along the road, the cleanup is simple in principle and long in practice — clear the drive, clear the roof, haul it all out. The result is a place that still feels like the Northwoods, only easier to sit under.
