About Lakeland Land Services

In July the light hangs on past nine o'clock down toward Hazelhurst, and mowers are still running while the sky above the pines turns the color of a struck match. Lakeland Land Services spends those long evenings on the lawns between the lakes, cutting, trimming close around birch trunks and fence posts, and edging the drive until the line reads sharp from the road. Northwoods ground is sandy and root-laced and hands over a good lawn to nobody for free; it takes attention, a schedule kept, and a blade that stays keen. The reward comes with the next morning's walk outside — dew, straight lines, everything squared away before the day heats up. Spring and fall bring the cleanups, winter's litter gone in April and the leaf drop gone in October, so the yard enters each stretch of the year clear.
