About Eggers Enterprises LLC

East of Mineral Point the pastures let go of enough water to start the Pecatonica, and the lawns out that way sit between town lot and open field with a foot in each. Eggers Enterprises LLC keeps them. Mowing on a schedule the grass sets rather than the calendar, trimming close where fence line meets yard, edging so the drive keeps its own outline against the turf. Evening is the good hour here, the mowers running long shadows across a yard while the swallows work the same air. Come October the leaves come down all at once out of the old shade trees, and the cleanup is a day's honest labor with a fine result: bare, brushed lawn holding the last warm light before winter closes in over the Iowa County ridges.
