About Snow Scholars | Milwaukee Snow Removal

The East Side takes its snow with the lake right there breathing on it — wet and heavy in one storm, dry and blowing in the next. On the streets around Downer Avenue, where the ravines in Lake Park fill in white and the sidewalks run beneath old trees, clearing has to be done thoroughly or it isn't worth doing. Snow Scholars handles Milwaukee snow removal: plowed driveways, shoveled walks, and ice control on the steps and aprons that turn slick by mid-afternoon. First light on a finished block, snow banked neat and the concrete showing through, is one of winter's better sights. Then the next system rolls in and it all begins again, which is precisely the job.
