About MariosSnowPlow

A squall crossing the west side at midnight turns the streetlights into cones and the road into guesswork, and somewhere inside it there is a truck with the blade already down. MariosSnowPlow works those hours — plowing driveways and lots, opening the apron the city plow just buried, shoveling steps and walks, then putting down salt so morning doesn't arrive as a sheet of ice. Winters here come in waves, three inches at a time or a foot all at once, and each wants a different pass. There is a straightforwardness to the whole thing: the snow is there, and then it isn't. Nobody has to think about the driveway, which is the entire idea.
