About Greenfield Landscaping

Stand on the Sixth Street viaduct in late October and the Menomonee Valley below runs gold — rail lines, riverbank grass, the low sun catching every blade at once. Greenfield Landscaping works the ground on both rims of that valley, mowing and trimming through the warm half of the year, then shaping beds, hauling leaves and putting yards down for the cold. When the turn comes, the same properties get plowed, shoveled and salted, so a walk that was edged in August is bare pavement in January. Landscaping in this city means holding a hard freeze and a wet spring in the same thought, and planning the ground accordingly. The result is a place that looks tended in every month, not only the easy ones.
