About Evans Lawn Care And Snow Removal LLC

At four in the morning the wind off Lake Michigan comes up the Kinnickinnic with a mineral edge, and Bay View's alleys fill with a fine, dry drift. That is the hour Evans Lawn Care And Snow Removal LLC is already out — headlights swinging past garage doors, blade down, the first clean lane cut before a single porch light comes on. Snow here does not so much fall as travel sideways, packing against duplex steps and the mouths of narrow drives, and it takes a plow, a shovel and a scoop of salt to answer all three. The work is plain and the reward is plain too: a driveway that lets a car out on time, and a walk a neighbor can cross without thinking about it. By sunrise, when the lake turns the color of pewter, the street looks like nothing ever happened. That is the point.
