About Diggin It, llc

The far south side still remembers being farmland; the Garden District grows things on purpose, and the soil out there is deep and dark. Diggin It, llc works that ground for lawns — mowing and trimming through the season, edging, bed preparation and mulch, seeding thin turf back into cover, and cleanups when spring thaws it out and autumn shuts it down. This far from downtown the sky is bigger, and weather announces itself a good half hour before it arrives out of the west. Turning a rough patch into an even sweep of green is a slow, physical pleasure. Milwaukee gives you about six months to do it, so the days count.
